True to size. We don't recommend going up a half size, as the band will stretch out, just like most shoes do.
 
If you happen to go up a half size or notice your sandals getting too loose over time (our sandal or any other sandal), we highly recommend getting a triangle gel pad for the ball of your foot to help fill in the gap and reduce discomfort.
