Returns & Exchanges

Quick Summary: Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery on new, unworn items with tags. We cover the return shipping label. To start any request (defect, exchange, or return), email shop@alexsboutique.com with your name and order number. Some categories are Final Sale (see below). Promo bundles are recalculated if part is returned. U.S. shipping only.

What’s the return/exchange window?

You have 14 days from delivery for items that are eligible.
To begin, email shop@alexsboutique.com with your name and order number. We’ll reply with instructions and a prepaid return label—on us. Please allow 3–5 business days after your return arrives for inspection and processing. (Original outbound shipping isn’t refundable.)

What condition do returns need to be in?

Items must be new, unworn, unwashed, with tags attached and original packaging.
They must look and smell unused. Items with strong odors (e.g., smoke, perfume, deodorant, pet, detergent), stains, makeup, or pet hair are not eligible—even if otherwise unworn.
Shoes must be unworn and returned in the original shoe box (place the box inside a mailer; please don’t tape the shoe box).
Tip: try shoes on indoors on a rug/carpet to keep soles pristine.

What if my order is damaged or defective?

Email shop@alexsboutique.com within 5 days of delivery with photos. We’ll replace or refund after review. Because some items ship from partnered warehouses, the 5-day notice is required by our partners; we’ll handle the vendor correspondence on your behalf and provide the return label.

Which items are Final Sale (no returns/exchanges)?

  • Earrings and fine jewelry

  • Hair accessories (clips, scrunchies, headbands)

  • Beauty & self-care (e.g., Evolve Botanica; soaps/skincare/oils; anything opened/used)

  • Personalized/customized items (monogrammed, engraved, printed-to-order)

  • Home décor & furniture

  • Seasonal items

  • Newcastle Classics (baby/blankets) if opened/used — only unopened items in original packaging are returnable
    (Defects in any category are still covered if reported within 5 days.)

How do footwear returns work?

Try on indoors on a rug/carpet only. Shoes must be unworn, uncreased, and in original condition, returned in the original shoe box placed inside a mailer.

How do I start a return, request an exchange, or report a defect?

  1. Email shop@alexsboutique.com with your name, order number, and whether it’s a return, exchange, or defect.

  2. Defects/incorrect items: report within 5 days of delivery (include photos).

  3. Returns/Exchanges: start within 14 days of delivery.
    We’ll reply with next steps and a prepaid return label. Processing is 3–5 business days after receipt.

Refunds & Exchanges: Refunds go back to the original payment (or store credit if you prefer). For the fastest exchange, place a new order for the item you want; return the original using the label we provide.

Promo & bundle returns

If you return part of a promotion, the order is recalculated and kept items revert to regular price; any difference is deducted from the refund.
Examples:

  • Buy 2 Get 1 Free: returning an item may remove the free/discounted benefit.

  • 2 for $70: returning one item reverts the kept item to its regular price; your refund is the difference after adjustment.

Can I cancel my order?

Contact us within 6 hours of purchase, and we’ll cancel if the order hasn’t begun processing. Refunds typically appear within 2–3 business days (bank/holiday timing may vary).
